This beach runs for miles and boasts a wonderful boardwalk that can take you half way towards Marbella! It sits on the edge of the town and is a busy hive of activity. There are a plethora of wonderful beach bars to dine at for lunch or dinner and a great place for watching the world go by, while breathing in the salty air
This slim line of beach is host to some of the freshest sea water along the coast of Mijas. It is not only a joy to swim in, but the reward is waiting for you at Villa Tropicano, a wonderful chiringuito just 2 kms from Mkondo - an easy bicycle ride or a walk along the cliff tops.
Wazza's beach is our local hang and luckily the coolest beach in the area. It's El Chaparral's best kept secret and you will find mostly locals here as it is away from the main beach of Cala de Mijas. This jewel of a beach gets its local name from the wonderful chiringuito that draws the local community in with its familial and cool atmosphere and warm hosts. It is a secret worth knowing about but one that we like to keep.
