Chiringuito Arroyo is a beachside gem in Cala de Mijas and one of the town’s best spots for authentic Spanish dining. With its relaxed, laid-back vibe and stunning views of the sea, it's the perfect place to savor fresh seafood, tapas, and traditional dishes right by the water. The friendly atmosphere and local charm make it a favorite for enjoying a true taste of Spain.

Los Delfines (DBC) is a fantastic dining option in Cala de Mijas, offering a blend of Western-style cuisine with a diverse menu that includes excellent vegan options. Situated close to the beach, this restaurant combines a relaxed atmosphere with delicious, modern dishes that cater to various tastes. Whether you're in the mood for plant-based delights or classic comfort food, Los Delfines provides a fresh and flavorful experience perfect for a laid-back meal by the sea.

Wazza's is our best kept secret as it is more of a local's hang but with a welcoming community. Here you can wake up to the best coffee in the area, or wind down with killer Pina Coladas. There is a simple bar menu with comforting toasted sandwiches, nachos and guacamole and the'r signature "waves' hot chips, to name a few. the staff here will bend over backwards to look after you and if you are lucky enough to be around on Friday and Sundays evenings, the also provide wonderful live music.

Cyrano is a relatively new addition to the town of Cala de Mijas. This is more of an upmarket choice if you are after somewhere for a special occasion. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, beautiful decor. It has a wide selection of drinks and a bounty of fresh food choices and some magnificent cocktails. 

Villa Tropicana is a wonderful find as it is hidden from the main road and only approachable from the beach. Its sits 2 kms from Mkondo so you can either drive to El Faro to park and take a short walk along the cliff tops, walk along the cliff tops, or cycle (we have bikes for use). It is a wonderful place to spend some time. The water is known locally to have the freshest water in the area - so it makes for an excellent swimming spot. The restaurant is beautifully positioned for al fresco dining and sits at the end of a small, slim and quiet beach.
